11–12 pm: Outside audio walk

  • Shore Land by Jee Yeun Lee
    with special guest Madolyn Wesaw (Pokagon Band of Potawatomi).

    A walk that reflects on the history of the Chicago lakefront and contrasts settler engineering with Indigenous perspectives on land and water.

    • Expect 35 minutes of walking, rain or shine
      *for heavy rain please
      meet inside the street-level lobby

    • Bring a smartphone and headphones to stream audio

    • Meet on the MCA steps

    • Space for 50 audio walker. Due to popular demand, 30 extra tickets have been added totaling 80 walkers.

    • Scripted handouts will be provided to be read during the walk
